- Hope For Today
May 18 - Psalms 25:4-10
Show me the right path, oh LORD; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by Your Truth and teach me, for You are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. Remember, oh LORD, Your compassion and unfailing love, which You have shown from long ages past. Do not remember the rebellious sins of my youth. Remember me in light of Your unfailing love, for You are merciful, oh LORD.
The LORD is good and does what is right; He shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them His way. The LORD leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep His covenant and obey His demands.
Our hope, my friends, can come from no place other than the Lord! He is the One who can show us the right path. He Is the One who knows the future, and holds it together. He is our Savior, our Creator, our Sustainer. He forgives us, and keeps no record of our failures. He is compassionate and constant, merciful and gracious, filled with unfailing love, and so, SO good! May we seek His will every day of our lives! May we live in obedience as He leads. May we trust Him wholly with every decision, every step, every move. May we be humble before Him. May we seek understanding. Heavenly Father, show us the right path! Lead us by Your Truth. Teach us Your ways. Give us understanding. Keep us humble. Forgive our sins. Cover us in Your unfailing love! Thank-you for who You are! We praise You for Your goodness, Your faithfulness, and Your mercy. We worship you because of Your righteousness. We trust You because of Your unfailing love! Keep us on Your path, Lord. In Jesus’s Name, amen.
