January 15 - Jeremiah 32:27
I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?
I’m going to go out on a limb here and assume there is something in your life that feels like a mountain too big for even God to move. In fact, I’m going to go a little further out on that limb and assume there are other people in your life – probably even other believers – reinforcing these thoughts and telling you that this obstacle you want to see move is impossible. My friends, don’t be fooled! There is only one God, and He is sitting on His glorious throne in heaven. He is the only One who knows your story from beginning to end. He is the only One who can tell you whether that mountain is going to move or not. And most importantly, if He wants it to move, you better believe, He CAN move it. So won’t you join me down here on the ground? Let’s fall on our faces before the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world and humbly ask Him to move our mountains! Let’s ask with the confidence that no matter what makes up those mountains, there is nothing too hard for our God! Let’s purpose to never listen to another person who tells us anything less. Finally, let’s wait with patience, listen carefully as God leads, and watch with awe as our mountains are cast into the depths of the sea!
