What will God Do to Be My First Love? #agape #hisdearlyloveddaughter #love #firstlove #identityinchrist

“Why is God allowing this to happen to me?” It’s a question that hung in my soul for many years. Likely there are many reasons, and I won’t pretend to have it all figured out. But, as my relationship with God has deepened beyond anything I previously knew was possible, my eyes have been opened to something that might offer one explanation: I suspect my Lord wanted to be my First Love. A position He sadly, did not hold. (Though I would’ve told you He did.) In those weeks I had been writing and learning like a whirlwind. The blog consisted of an “About Me” page, and a three-part series detailing “Our Story.”  I also had two additional posts mostly ready to go. Nonetheless, I had no idea what I was doing.  Little did I know what God had in store for the year to come! My life was in shambles, and in the midst of the chaos, God had whispered to me,Read More →
