September 29 – Philippians 4:19

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from His glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

Do you have a need today that is causing you to worry?  You’re not alone.  Life is full of demands for our time, money, energy, and pretty much all our resources.  It’s easy to become overwhelmed by it all and wonder how we’re going to measure up.  We often can’t see how we’re going to meet those demands without collapsing beneath the pressure.

But the Bible tells us there is One who is supplied with glorious riches that are sufficient to meet all our needs! He is God Almighty.

Not only that, those riches have been given to us in Christ Jesus.  When we became part of the family of God, by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we became heirs to all that is His.  We can be confident that He will supply every one of our needs from that treasure trove of divine wealth.

He loves us! After all, we’re His children. Even we will go to any means necessary to take care of the children we love, using every resource we have at our disposal without hesitation.  How much more our Heavenly Father for the children He cherishes!  Rest in the arms of your Father, friend! He will take care of you!
