Support groups can be a great way to find help as you heal, and offer a path out of the debilitating isolation of depression at the same time. But not all support groups are created equal! Finding the right one can be a nightmare. We want to help.
Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayers of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.
His Dearly Loved Daughters Support Group
This is a very special group of ladies who are deeply committed to seeking God as we heal from betrayal trauma. Every lady in the group has been betrayed by her husband, whether through adultery, porn addiction, or emotional affairs. (Or for some of us, all of the above.) But we are working hard to find our identities in who God says we are, not in the betrayal or the sins of our husbands. We want to make decisions for our future that honor HIM above all else.
Together, we work through Bible studies, meet monthly (virtually) just to hang out and talk, share our stories with vulnerability and openness, faithfully pray for one another, and take every opportunity to encourage each other along the way.
It is a private Facebook group that can only be seen by members of the group. So it is very safe and secure. For that reason, though, you can’t find it on your own or request membership through Facebook. I have to personally send you an invite. So if you’re interested in joining this AMAZING group of ladies, please reach out and contact me, and after we run through some questions together (to make sure the group stays safe for everyone in it) I will be happy to send you an invite.
Other Facebook Support Groups
While the group I told you about above is the only support group run by our ministry at the moment, we do have contacts who run some other pretty amazing groups that cover issues from betrayal trauma recovery, to working through hard marriage issues, to rekindling intimacy in marriage. And then there are others that deal with broader issues like daily Christian living, Bible study, and being a woman of God. There are support groups for the wives of addicts, as well as for the parents of addicts. There are groups to encourage and equip parents who support children with serious medical conditions, and others for those dealing with their own chronic health issues. Basically, if you have a problem, I bet we know someone who runs a support group that will bless you! So send me a message and let me know what you’re looking for. I bet I can get you connected to a Jesus loving sister in Christ who runs the perfect group for you!
